  2. Applications are kept in the City Secretary's Office for two years from the date the application was received.

  3. Ways to serve your City (For complete qualifications, please see City Secretary.)

    Planning and Zoning Commission: Five-member board comprised of at least 3 members that reside within the corporate limits of City. Remaining 2 members may reside within the corporate limits of the Liberty Hill Independent School District. At least 1 member must also be a City Council member.
    Parks and Recreation Board: 5-member board comprised of at least 1 member who resides within the corporate limits of the City and at least 1 member who is also a member of City Council. 4 members may reside within the corporate boundaries of the Liberty Hill Independent School District.
    Economic Development Corporation (separate legal entity): See bylaws.
    Main Street Revitalization Committee: 5-member board comprised of 1 or more members living within the city limits with 1 member being a City Council member; while other members may reside in either the Liberty Hill Independent School District or the ETJ.

  5. Applicants

    As an applicant for a city board or commission, your application is public information and will be available to the press and the public upon request. Incumbents whose terms expire are automatically considered for reappointment unless they indicate non-interest. Applicants may be asked to attend a City Council meeting to be interviewed. I hereby authorize the City of Liberty Hill to investigate my background and qualifications for purposes of evaluating whether I am qualified for the position for which I am applying. I understand that the City of Liberty Hill will utilize an outside firm or firms to assist it in checking such information and I specifically authorize such an investigation by information services and outside entities of the city's choice. I also understand that I may withhold my permission and that in such a case, no investigation will be done, and my application will not be processed further.
