Hard copies of candidate applications and candidate packet are available at the City Secretary's Office located in City Hall at 926 Loop 332, Liberty Hill. Prospective candidates may schedule an appointment to pick up and/or file an application by contacting the City Secretary by phone at 512.778.5449 or by email to nsawyer@libertyhilltx.gov..
A candidate must be a U.S. citizen; be 18 years of age or older on the first day of the term to be filled at the election; must have resided continuously in the state for 12 months ands in the city or in the district or ward, as applicable, for six months immediately preceding the deadline for filing an application for a place on the ballot. Important: According to the Texas Election Code §141.001(a)(5)(B), you must have resided within the territorial limits of the City of Liberty Hill, Texas for the six months immediately preceding the date of the regular filing deadline for a candidates application for a place on the ballot.
