Water Tower Parking Lot

822 Loop 332

The Water Tower Parking Lot, located across from Wetzel Park, was constructed in 2020 and added 54 parking spaces to downtown Liberty Hill. The Parking Lot also serves as a space for various City events and festivals.

Water Tower

The old Water Tower, located within the parking lot, holds a replication of artist Jim Franklin's vintage poster that promoted Willie Nelson's third annual 4th of July picnic, which was held in Liberty Hill in 1975. Below the Willie poster, residents can see promotions for upcoming community events. The Water Tower is lit up for special occasions. It was lit purple for the first time on January 7, 2021 in honor of the Liberty Hill football state semifinals game.

Community Christmas Tree

Liberty Hill's Community Christmas Tree is located in the Water Tower Parking Lot. Residents, community groups, and small businesses add meaningful Christmas ornaments to the tree each winter. The ornaments are saved and re-hung year after year. The tree symbolizes the City's small-town roots, and as the town grows, so does our beloved tree.
